I am the widow of CHP Officer, Don Woods, ID 3402, of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Since my husband's death in 1983, I have been providing short term, easy jobs for retirees and their families. My website can be viewed at www.transtecconsulting.net. The jobs I offer are generally designed so that even those injured and retired on disability can do them. Most are short term, so as not to disrupt the "retiree lifestyle". Many are designed so that the spouse or other family member can participate.
I have a study currently in progress or scheduled in a number of areas around the country. Please see the attachment called Test Area Breakdown. The studies began in mid-September and will continue until 100 cities have been tested. The yellowed cities have been assigned; the others have not been assigned. In your email please indicate the areas you wish to do, the level of your computer knowledge, (you donšt need to be a wiz) but do need to know how to attach, open, send, and download a file or program. I need to know whether you have a PC that runs Windows, what version of Windows you have and if you have Excel and Microsoft Word. The equipment is not configured to be compatible with Macs. Also you must have a working cigarette lighter. It would be helpful to know the number of cigarette lighters you have as the equipment must be installed into the lighter.
