specializes in Federal and State Labor Standard Compliance for Federal and State funded construction contracts. TCG will work closely with the agency or prime contractor to insure that the agency or primary contractor is in compliance with the State of Federal requirements for site inspections and verification of the certified payrolls of the sub contractors and vendors on the project. This risk mitigation will insure the agency and primary contractor that the final audit of the project will find the primary contractor and agency in full compliance with the Federal and State labor standard requirements associated with the project. TCG, centralizes the processing of the certified payrolls to insure accurate evaluation and compliance. TCG has field inspectors located in each region of the State, providing cost effective on-site contractor and subcontractor interviews.
Transtec Consulting Group will:
1. Meet with Project Manager to identify the subcontractors associated with the project.
2. Supply Document Matrix detailing Federal and State Labor Clauses required for the project.
3. Prepare Labor Standard guidelines for inclusion with each subcontractors contract documents
4. Prepare Labor Standard Contract Documents for sub-contracts under $100,000.
5. Prepare Labor Standard Contract Documents for sub-contracts projects over $100,000
6. Conduct preconstruction meeting reviewing project's labor standard requirements
7. Conduct onsite interviews of at least 10% of the workers for each trade on the project.
8. Prepare and submit interview sheets for inclusion in bid folder and for payment approval
9. Receive and review certified payrolls, compare information contained on interview sheets.
10. Review non compliant payrolls, requesting re-submittal of noncompliant payrolls.
11. Authorize subcontractor payment after compliance review.
12. Maintain payroll and interview project file
